'Journal Cover- Express Yourself Through Watercolour
Join artist Bethany Neck(Master of Contemporary Art) to create your own unique Journal Cover! A 3 hr workshop on Saturday October 26th 2024 2.00 to 5.00pm @ The Summit Community Centre 4 Crescent Dve Norton Summit. $80 pp includes all art materials (including a journal) paints tea and coffee.

About the event
All materials are provided. Each participant will reflect on events, people or aspects of life that bring them joy! We'll use pattern, colours and images eg. local birds, flowers, fruits etc to represent some of these, designing a unique, symbolic journal cover.
Each participant may bring their own meaningful images or patterns to incorporate into their design, if they wish. eg. Cultural, religious images or memorabilia.
The cover will be glued onto a journal, which may be used for creative writing. Your design can be used for other art projects - eg. painting on ceramic platters.
